Which is bigger – The Hyundai Kona or the Hyundai Tucson?

There's a lot of perks to picking an SUV, particularly if you're selecting from the compelling options in our new Hyundai SUV lineup here at Rick Case Hyundai Duluth. Hyundai SUVs are fantastic for adventurous drivers, offering light to moderate off-road capability, a plethora of family-friendly safety features, and of course, extra space! And if you've narrowed down your SUV shopping options to either the Hyundai Kona or the Hyundai Tucson and are wondering which one is going to offer you more room to roam, that's something we can help you explore here at our Duluth, GA Hyundai dealership.

Now, as a compact crossover, the new Hyundai Tucson is the larger of the two models overall. At 174.4-inches long and 72.8-inches wide, it's a little more than 10 inches longer and nearly 2-inches wider than the Hyundai Kona, and that in turn translates to a roomier cabin.

The overall interior volume of the Hyundai Tucson is 113.3 cubic-feet, with 94.1 cubic-feet of that space designated as passenger volume for up to five people. Behind the second row, you can find up to 31 cubic-feet of luggage space, which is great for backpacks, gym bags, and groceries. However, if you're picking up some larger items like a lamp or some small furniture, you can fold the rear seats down to open up 61.9 cubic-feet of overall cargo room.

Now, that's not to say that the new Hyundai Kona isn't room in its own right. In fact, when it comes to headroom up front, the Hyundai Kona actually matches the Hyundai Tucson with 39.6-inches available, so taller drivers will have no trouble getting comfortable in either of these SUVs.

That said, if you really want to get a feel for which of these two SUVs is going to be most comfortable for you, the best way to do so is a test drive. Drop in to Rick Case Hyundai Duluth to take a test drive or two with the new Hyundai Kona and Hyundai Tucson.
